RAD Technology Medical Systems to Construct Modular Radiation Oncology Center at the University of California San Diego Moores Cancer Center

AVENTURA, FL, Aug 1, 2011: RAD Technology Medical Systems has entered into a contract with the prestigious UC San Diego Rebecca and John Moores Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The nearly 15,000 square foot facility will contain two state of the art shielded vaults and quality outpatient support
space including exam rooms, research resources and offices.

The entire facility will be factory constructed and include RAD’s patented PRO System Vaults.This approach will allow the entire structure to be relocated, which was vital to the financing methods. RAD Technology’s President John Lefkus elaborated, “We are working with a premier client in UCSD, an industry leading design firm in Zimmer Gunsul Frasca Architects and, RAD Technology’s revolutionary PRO system. This project will embody the drivers in RAD’s approach, Time, Technology and Unique Financing.”
