A Hospital Based Clinic in Southern FL, wanted to add imaging to their current Radiation Oncology Department.
With no available space in the existing building, they needed an additional facility to house the CT machine and ancillary space.
The Solution
RAD provided a 709 sq ft modular CT building.
It includes a treatment room with a Siemens Somatom Confidence CT, control room and storage space.
The module was constructed offsite in the factory at the same time the foundation and utilities were installed on site. The module was then shipped to the site for installation. The minimal onsite construction leads to less disruption and safer conditions for doctors, patients and staff. In addition, the simultaneous construction allows for projects to be completed up to 50% faster than with standard construction.
In just 55 days, they were treating patients in their new CT Suite!
RAD provided the hospital based clinic with an operating lease which allowed them to avoid the lengthy capital procurement process, avoid deploying capital and lease the facility and sitework in a single package.
